CORAL GABLES — With Mario Cristobal entering his first year as Miami Hurricanes head coach, the program is looking to keep up in the college football arms race, adding off-field staff members and improving the team’s facilities.
The Hurricanes recently unveiled their upgraded Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson Locker Room, and now the athletic department is taking its next steps.
“Rest assured, (upgrading facilities) is Priority 1 that we’re working on,” athletic director Dan Radakovich said Tuesday.
Radakovich said building a new football operations center and expanding Miami’s indoor practice facility to a full-sized field were among the projects the athletic department is working on.
