They went from a 78.9 percent chance of making the tournament before yesterday’s game to a 97 percent chance according to TeamRankings.Com. Miami was around 56 percent following their three-game losing streak after the loss to Syracuse February 17.
Once they get to the NCAA Tournament Miami is predicted to make the second round. ESPN’s Joe Lunardi currently has the Hurricanes as a seventh seed in the Midwest Region and rising.
