After a three-game series sweep of Virginia last weekend the Miami Hurricanes dropped a 1-0 decision at Florida Gulf Coast on Wednesday night. The sweep of the Cavaliers was Miami’s first since 2008. That was preceded by a 22-2 exhibition loss to the Miami Marlins on Tuesday afternoon at Marlins Park.
