The Miami Hurricanes enter Tuesday night’s game off of an 82-63 victory over Lehigh in the season opener on Friday night. The Hurricanes had to play Friday night without Junior center-forward Dewan Hernandez. Hernandez has been suspended indefinitely is pending an NCAA investigation regarding potential illicit payments.
Miami won their opener with all five starters scoring in double figures. Sophomore point guard Chris Lykes and Senior forward Anthony Lawrence had outstanding games. Lykes scored a career-high 22 points and had five rebounds, four assists and two steals. Lawrence had 19, 12, two, three and three blocks.
