Brown is expected to be the Miami Hurricanes best player in 2017-18 and the likely team leader. Brown was left off the ACC’s All-Freshman team this past season. The top three vote-getters from that team are leaving for the NBA.
North Carolina State’s Dennis Smith Jr. won the ACC Freshman of the Year. Florida State’s Jonathan Isaac has the second most points being selected to the team and Duke Jayson Tatum finished third.
Davon Reed was the only Hurricane this past season to receive postseason recognition. Reed was named third team All-ACC and to its all-defensive team.
