The Miami Hurricanes have suffered some attrition on defense and are losing several key starters on both offense and defense. They return the core of a 10-3 team that won its first ACC Coastal Division title.
A core of the Miami Hurricanes fanbase considered the 38-3 loss to Clemson in the ACC Championship game an embarrassment. Appearing in it for the first time was a huge accomplishment. The Hurricanes reached most of their preseason goals. They included living up to being preseason favorites in the ACC Coastal Division.
Miami should be the favorite to make a return trip next season.
