After a two-year absence, the Hurricanes are back in the NCAA Tournament.
On Sunday afternoon, at a festive party in the heart of Miami's campus where they were cheered by friends, family members, fans and classmates, the Hurricanes men's basketball teamed learned it will begin its tournament journey as a No. 3 seed in the South Region against Buffalo on Thursday.
It's a run the Hurricanes hope will end in Houston at the Final Four early next month, a feat that would be historic for Miami, which has never advanced past the Sweet 16.
