Thomas had four receptions for nine yards in the first four games. In the last three, he has become Miami Hurricanes quarterback Malik Rosier’s top big-play threat.

The big play from Thomas was a huge part of the Miami offense on Saturday. Four plays encompassed over half of the Hurricanes yards in Saturday’s 24-19 victory over North Carolina.

In addition to the 78-yard touchdown reception from Thomas, his classmate DeeJay Dallas added a 39-yard reception, wide receiver Braxton Berrios had a 42-yard reception and Rosier threw a 51-yard touchdown to tight end Chris Herndon just before halftime.
