Burns injury thins out an already shallow depth chart at running back for the Miami Hurricanes. The ‘Canes are now down to returning star Mark Walton and backups Travis Homer and Trayone Gray.
Burns is a player with a lot of upside but had an injury plagued high school career. He suffered a shoulder injury during the first day of contact during the spring. Burns later had surgery on the shoulder.
The Miami Herald is reporting that Burns took part “ball-carrying drills wearing a non-contact green jersey”
