Ford adds depth to the Miami Hurricanes defensive line. They need depth inside with the departures of Gerald Willis Courtel Jenkins. Willis is taking an unspecified leave of absence from the team this season. Jenkins was kicked off the team this winter.
Miami had moved defensive end, Pat Bethel, inside. Bethel and Ford will be battling with Andrew Moten for playing time behind Kendrick Norton and R.J. McIntosh.
Ford is finally listed on the Miami Hurricanes official roster. A report from Peter Ariz of CanesInsight said that Ford has enrolled in his dorm. Ariz said he wasn’t sure if Ford was taking part in practice.
