There was a scary scene at Miami Hurricanes practice on Wednesday when a player had to be airlifted to a nearby hospital after an injury suffered in practice. At first, nobody knew who the player was, but then Matt Porter of the Palm Beach Post that it was indeed sophomore linebacker Marques Gayot.
The cause of the injury hasn’t been released by the Hurricanes, but it’s believed that it was a head-on collision with a teammate.
Because we didn’t know much details, it was a scary scene and any time a player is airlifted, you always get scared.
