Out of all the coaches that were on the previous staff, most people wanted Larry Scott and Kevin Beard back on the Mark Richt staff.
As of Friday morning, neither of them will be returning to the Hurricanes coaching staff, a source close to the situation told our Andrew Ferrelli.
We were told that Richt called Beard this morning and informed him that he was going to go in another direction for the wide receivers spot, which means he probably already has someone in mind.
Beard was only on the staff one year and the wide receivers (especially Stacy Coley) showed some improvements from past years.
