On Thursday afternoon, the University of Miami announced that Jonathan Patke had been named the 10th full-time assistant coach on Miami’s staff.
Patke, who was temporarily promoted back in December so that he could hit the road and recruit with the staff, has now been moved onto the staff officially. Here’s more narrative from Miami Athletics:
CORAL GABLES, Fla. – University of Miami head coach Mark Richt announced the hiring of Jonathan Patke as outside linebackers coach Thursday.
Patke, who has spent the previous two seasons as a Hurricanes quality control analyst on defense, joins the coaching staff in a full-time capacity as the 10th assistant coach.
