A day after Manny Diaz got screwed by the Broyles Award committee, and the entire Canes team (minus Michael Badgley) was disrespected by the bullshit All-ACC teams, a bit of good recognition finally came Miami’s way when Head Coach Mark Richt was named ACC Coach of the Year on Tuesday afternoon.
In his 2nd year at his Alma Mater, Richt has led Miami to a 10-1 record and their first ACC Championship game appearance. Those things are great no matter who you are. There’s more to the story, though. Here’s Miami Athletics’ release:
