On Tuesday afternoon, Miami Hurricanes Head Coach Mark Richt was named the 2017 Walter Camp National Coach of the Year.
Richt is the 2nd Miami coach to win this award, joining Jimmy Johnson (1986) in receiving this honor.

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – University of Miami head coach Mark Richt has been named the Walter Camp 2017 Coach of the Year, the Walter Camp Football Foundation announced Tuesday.
The coaching honor is the second in the past week for Richt, who became the first Hurricane to be named ACC Coach of the Year on Tues.
