On Thursday, Miami Hurricanes DE Demetrius Jackson was named to the All-State AFCA Good Works Team. This honor was earned through Jackson’s palpable contributions to and involvement in community service.

CORAL GABLES, Fla. – University of Miami defensive lineman Demetrius Jackson is one of 146 nominees for the 2017 Allstate American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Good Works Team®.
Jackson, who was a recipient of the ACC Top Six Award for Service in 2016, is an active member in the Miami community.
