On Monday afternoon, Miami Hurricanes F Dewan Huell announced on social media that he is declaring for the NBA Draft, but will not hire an agent to retain his collegiate eligibility.
The 21 year old Huell started all 32 games for the Hurricanes in 2017-18. He averaged 11.4 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 1.0 blocks per game on .576 % FG and .689 FT% shooting lines.
A 5-star recruit from Miami (FL) Norland HS, Huell arrived in Miami with tons of fanfare. He has been a solid player over his 2 years in Miami, with flashes of brilliance and stretches of malaise, as well.
