Miami Hurricanes expect Chris Lykes to be the leader on 2018-19

Lykes is back for his Sophomore season and he will be handed the keys to the team after the Miami Hurricanes lost guards, Senior Ja’Quan Newton, Sophomore Bruce Brown and Freshman Lonnie Walker. With the depth taking a hit in the backcourt Miami’s strength this season will be in the frontcourt.

Larranaga was joined in Charlotte by Senior forward Anthony Lawrence and Junior center-forward Dewan Hernandez. Hernandez is the only player that started all 32 games for the Miami Hurricanes last season. Lawrence was second in starts with 31.

Hernandez is Miami’s leading returning scorer at 11.
