Miami Hurricanes redshirt senior defensive end Quincy Roche announced he is declaring for the 2021 NFL draft on Sunday night.
While a fifth-year senior, all college football players are being granted an extra season of eligibility because the 2020 season is being played during the COVID-19 pandemic, so Roche had the option to return if he wanted.
“From being a 2-star recruit, I have always had a chip on my shoulder that has carried me through my career,” Roche wrote in a graphic he tweeted, titled Thank You Miami. “The odds have always been against me but I never stopped believing in my dreams to play professional football.
