Davis‘ appearance last week against Georgia Tech was his fourth of the season. If he plays in one more game this year he will lose his potential to redshirt. Davis was the Miami Hurricanes most impressive back last week in the loss to the Yellow Jackets.
In his most extensive and impressive performance of the season, Davis ran for 48 yards on six carries. That included a 22 yards touchdown run shortly before halftime to cut Miami’s deficit to 17-14.
Davis was a four-star signee in the class of 2018 who figured to redshirt this season stuck behind Junior Travis Homer, Sophomore DeeJay Dallas and fellow freshman, five-star Lorenzo Lingard at running back.
