It was the second week in a row that a Miami Hurricanes defensive end was injured. Senior Demetrius Jackson missed Saturday’s game with an unspecified knee injury. Miami Head Coach Mark Richt described Jackson as day to day.
Rousseau’s injury leaves the Miami Hurricanes with three healthy scholarship defensive ends on the depth chart. The initial depth chart of the season released ahead of the opening loss to LSU had Jackson and Rousseau as the backups to Sophomore Jonathan Garvin at defensive end.
The other side of the defensive line has Junior Joe Jackson and redshirt Junior Scott Patchan.
