Joe Jackson and Bandy are both expected to be starters for the Miami Hurricanes defense this season. Demetrius Jackson has been listed at left defensive end with the second-team Miami defense during training camp. Joe Jackson is the starter at right defensive end.
Although Bandy returned to reps with the first-team defense he was seen playing in the slot during the 15 minutes of viewing time the media is allowed each day. Bandy has previously been playing outside cornerback earlier this month. Senior Jhavonte Dean took Bandy’s place outside.
Joe Jackson had missed time earlier this week with what seems to be an elbow injury.
