Jackson announced he would be returning to the Miami Hurricanes via Twitter. It was a two-part post. Just like another MJ, his tweet announced: “I’m back”. He then used the notes section of his iPhone to go into a more detail about his decision to return to Miami for his Senior season.
Jackson’s return with Johnson solidifies Miami’s secondary for next season. The only defensive back the Miami Hurricanes lose is cornerback Dee Delaney. Johnson led Miami with 96 tackles this season. Jackson had 43 tackles this season and he and Johnson tied for the team lead with four interceptions.
