Miami Hurricanes Basketball: Second Half Rally Helps Miami Sneak By Princeton in 76-64 Victory

We had all seen this script before.

An average non-conference opponent visiting the BUC, a sluggish start and a off night for one of the team’s superstars. It seemed all too familiar, then everything changed.

In front of 6,927 at an energetic BankUnited Center, the Miami Hurricanes overcame a halftime deficit for the first time this season and used a second half rally to beat Princeton 76-64. The victory moved Coach Jim Larranaga and the Canes to 11-1 on the season and wrapped up Miami’s non-conference schedule for this season.

From the tip, it was clear Princeton would try to slow the game down against a Miami team that loves to play up-tempo.
