CORAL GABLES, Fla. – Redshirt senior forward Kamari Murphy of the University of Miami men's basketball team will play in the NBA Summer League with his hometown Brooklyn Nets from July 7-11 in Las Vegas, Nev., the Nets announced Friday morning.
“Kamari Murphy is an outstanding athlete. His intensity to play both individual and team defense along with his outstanding rebounding ability make him a strong candidate to make the Brooklyn Nets roster,” seventh-year head coach Jim Larrañaga said.
