Miami Hurricanes Baseball Gets Swept at Florida

Florida almost completely shutdown the Miami offense with a 0.66 ERA in the three games. The Hurricanes pitching was nearly perfect in the first two games allowing just three runs, but getting literally no run support. For the three game series the Miami pitching staff had a 2.63 ERA.

It was the offense that failed the Hurricanes this weekend. In the three game series, Miami hit .133 with a .233 on-base percentage. Romy Gonzalez shined on Sunday by going 2-4 with two home runs and three RBI’s.

The Hurricanes wasted two stellar pitching performances in the series.
