Coming into this season, we thought the Miami Hurricanes would be good, but not this good.
The No. 1 Canes (26-4) won their tenth straight Tuesday night as they defeated Division II Nova Southeastern 8-3 to claim their 10th straight win and continue one of the best starts in program history.
Sophomore Danny Garcia got the start for Jim Morris’s club and was efficient in his four innings, but did not get much help from the Miami bats. Besides a Joe Gomez sacrifice fly that brought home Brandon Lopez in the second, the previously hot Hurricanes offense was nowhere to be found.
