The University of Miami announced the 2020 Hurricanes baseball schedule Thursday. As always, the ‘Canes will face one of the toughest schedules in the country, with series against Florida, Florida State, North Carolina, Georgia Tech, and other national powerhouses on the schedule.
The 2020 season will be one of the most anticipated seasons in recent memory for Miami. The ‘Canes return nearly the entire starting lineup and pitching rotation from last year’s 41-20 squad. Miami will be led on the diamond by standout shortstop Freddy Zamora, a projected Top-15 MLB Draft pick.
The ‘Canes open the regular season on Valentine’s Day, February 14, against Rutgers, whom Miami has opened the season with for the last five years.
