The Miami Hurricanes struggled with depth at running back in 2017. The additions of four-star Davis and five-star running back Lorenzo Lingard to go with returnees Travis Homer and DeeJay Dallas give Head Coach Mark Richt and Offensive Coordinator Thomas Brown more options this season.
Davis comes to the Miami Hurricanes from Carol City High School. He was ranked the 173rd best player in the Class of 2018, the seventh-best running back and the 29th best player in Florida according to 247Sports.
