The Seminoles had a dramatic turnaround from the floor in the second half. After shooting 44 percent in the first half they shot 60 percent in a 44-23 blitz of the Hurricanes in the final 20 minutes.
Miami shot 47.8 percent in the opening 20 minutes and just 42.1 percent after halftime. Free throws also played a large part. FSU was 11-11 from the line in the second half after shooting 3-4 before halftime. The Hurricanes were 11-12 and 6-10 in the first and second halves from the line respectively.
Florida State enters the game 23-7, 11-6 in the ACC.
