On Tuesday afternoon, the Jacksonville Jaguars made UM alum Brandon Linder the highest paid Center in NFL history.
A 3rd year pro, Linder, who attended Ft. Lauderdale (FL) St. Thomas Aquinas before enrolling at the University of Miami, has been a good player since he was drafted by the Jags in the 3rd round of the 2014 NFL Draft.
That’s not to say that Linder’s career has been perfect. He played as a rotation player at guard as a rookie in 2014, missed the 2015 season with injury, and finally moved to center in 2016.
