Miami Hurricanes’ Ahmmon Richards named to Biletnikoff Award watchlist.

Richards had an injury-plagued Sophomore season in 2017 after breaking the31-year-old Miami Hurricanes Freshmen receiving yardage record in 2016. Pro Football Hall of Famer Michael Irvin previously held the record.

Richards was a True Freshman All-American in 2016. He caught 49 passes for 934 yards and three touchdowns during his record setting campaign.

Richards joins teammate Travis Homer being named to his second award watch list for the upcoming season. Homer was named to the Doak Walker Award watch list earlier this week after having been named to the watch list for the Maxwell.

The Biletnikoff and Walker Awards will be presented as part of the College Football Awards December 6 on ESPN.
