Miami Hurricanes Ahmmon Richards Has Record Setting Day

The Bulk of Richards yards came on two long gains in the third quarter. After he dropped the first play of Miami’s second drive of the third quarter, Richards caught a 61-yard pass from Brad Kaaya to give the ‘Canes first and goal at the App St seven yard line after a face mask penalty. After a delay of game penalty, a Joe Yearby 12 yard touchdown run pushed the lead to 31-10.

That drive was key for Miami. It was the Hurricanes answer to a six play, 38 yard App St touchdown drive that followed a Kaaya interception inside the Mountaineer five yard line.
