Miami Hurricanes true freshman tight end Dominic Mammarelli is used to winning.
The Naples High graduate helped the Golden Eagles to a 32-5 record in his three years playing varsity football for the Southwest Florida power. Those five losses came to Miami Northwestern (twice), Miami Palmetto (twice) and Miami Central.
Naples never lost more than twice in a season with Mammarelli on the roster.
Can Mammarelli bottle that up and bring that with him to Miami? Let’s hope.
His Hurricane career will start in fall camp with he and his teammates learning new offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee’s spread offense.
