LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The Hurricanes admit now they were tight ahead two of their biggest games this year.
And it showed at both North Carolina and Virginia Tech, with Miami playing less-than-stellar defense and uncharacteristic, sloppy basketball against both the Tar Heels and the Hokies in the regular season.
Since, Miami coach Jim Larrañaga and his staff have gone out of their way to remind the Hurricanes that basketball is supposed to be fun and if it’s not, then, well, bad things can happen.
There’s been pre-game dancing in the locker room. Joking. Laughter.
