The University of Miami has made a first and significant move toward revamping its athletic department by hiring respected Clemson athletic director Dan Radakovich, according to a report.
Now the connect-the-dots question becomes: Will he bring long-time Clemson defensive coordinator Brent Venables with him as football coach?
Radakovich, who has been Clemson’s athletic director for nearly a decade, is considered one of the top athletic directors in the country. He has some early roots at Miami. He started his career in 1983 as Miami’s in-athletic business manager and then helped with the offense as an aide on Jimmy Johnson’s football program.
