The secondary for the Miami football team lost a key player when it was announced on Monday by head coach Manny Diaz that safety Bubba Bolden has been lost for the season. Bolden injured his ankle following a chest-bump celebration with fellow safety Gurvan Hall after a Bolden interception against Florida State Saturday.
Bolden had become a key part of the secondary for the Miami football team. The transfer from USC played only five games this season before suffering the season-ending injury. Bolden had to sit out until the fifth game of the season against Virginia Tech.
