The five turnovers came in the first half on four interceptions and a lost fumble as the Hurricanes fell behind 28-0 in the second quarter to the Hokies Saturday afternoon.
Starting quarterback Jarren Williams was pulled after starting the game 4-7 for 47 yards with three interceptions in the first quarter. N’Kosi Perry entered the game and went 28-47 for 422 yards, four touchdowns and one interception.
