Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald reported on Tuesday that the Miami football defensive coaches want rising Sophomore Nesta Silvera to play with more “evenness” in 2018. Silvera has a tendency to celebrate after every play he makes in practice. Silvera’s play has not equaled his swagger.
Silvera was a four-star signee in the Miami football program’s 2018 recruiting class. He was the 54th ranked player nationally, the second best defensive tackle and 11th rated player in Florida in the Class of 2018 in the 247 Sports Composite rankings. Silvera needs to curb his antics following every play, especially during practice.
