Miami football signs crucial four-Star OT Jalen Rivers

The offensive line for the Miami football team was porous throughout most of the 2019 season. Miami finished 127th out of 130 FBS teams in 2019 in sacks allowed. The tackles were the weakest link of the Hurricanes offensive line in 2019. By the end of the season Miami was starting two freshman on the offensive line.

Zion Nelson started at right tackle in the season opener against Florida as a true freshman. Jakai Clark became the second Hurricanes freshman offensive lineman to start on the offensive line when he started in the second game of the season against North Carolina in the second game of the season.
