Miami football picked fifth in ACC by media

The Miami football team was picked fifth in the ACC with 1553 points. The voting was conducted by 176 media voters who cover the ACC. Clemson was once again picked to win the ACC with 103 first-place votes and 2,370 points. Florida State, North Carolina and North Carolina State are picked third through fifth place.

Miami barely finished ahead of Duke and Pittsburgh who each had 1,511 points. The only teams other than Clemson to receive first-place votes were Florida State with 67, North Carolina with five and North Carolina State with one. Miami has one of the hardest schedules in the ACC this season.
