Chris Washington is a 6’7 269 behemoth that given time with offensive line coach Butch Barry and strength and conditioning coordinator David Feeley can turn into a bookend tackle for the Miami football program. Washington is the second tackle and third offensive lineman committed to the Hurricanes for 2020.
Washington is ranked as the 62nd best player in Tennessee and 167th best OT in the country. Miami received a commitment earlier this month from huge four-star, 6’7 331 pound Jalen Rivers from Jacksonville. The Hurricanes also have a commitment from three-star guard Antonio Smith.
With the lack of production on the offensive line over the last few seasons, recruiting quantity upfront is just as critical as quality.
