Sophomore Brevin Jordan who was named a Mackey Award Semifinalist earlier this week for the best tight end in the nation is not expected In the Miami football game against FIU on Saturday. It was expected that Sophomore Will Mallory would start in place of Jordan for the second straight game.
Mallory had a 17-yard TD reception two weeks ago in the 52-27 Miami victory over Louisville. Jordan leads Miami with 495 receiving yards and second with 34 receptions. Mallory has four receptions for 87 yards and has matched Jordan with two TDs.
