Following a 6-7 2019 season head coach Manny Diaz proved he knows how to build a college football program by making necessary changes to the coaching staff and roster. Three new coaches on the offensive staff, a key new administrator and four high-level transfers have upgraded the Miami football program.
After finishing 90th in scoring offense and 98th in total offense, Diaz fired offensive coordinator Dan Enos after one season with the Miami football program. Enos was hired as a quarterback guru following success at that position with Alabama. Too much inconsistency in the Miami offense led to Enos being dismissed.
