Miami football alum, linebacker Jon Beason compared current Hurricanes quarterback Jarren Williams to NFL legends Tom Brady and Peyton Manning. Beason was a guest on the Packer and Durham show on the ACC Network on Tuesday.
Beason credited Williams with being able to feel the rush like Brady and Manning. Williams relieved an inconsistent N’Kosi Perry and rallied the Miami football team to a 16-12 victory at Heinz Field Saturday. Perry and Williams have split the quarterback play this season.
Williams started the first five games of the season and Perry started the last three against Virginia, Georgia Tech and Pittsburgh.
