Chris Hummer a national writer for 247 Sports has logged a crystal ball for Tulane safety Andre Sam to the Miami football program. Sam is close to new Miami defensive coordinator Lance Guidry. Sam played for Guidry at FCS McNeese State where was the head coach and Marshall and Tulane where he was DC.
Sam transferred to Marshall from McNeese State in 2022 and to Tulane for the 2023 season. When Guidry was hired by Tulane in January, Sam followed him to New Orleans. Sam reentered the transfer portal last week. Miami seeks depth at safety with only three scholarship players at the position entering the 2023 season.
