The Miami football team is in a tough situation with their kicker Bubba Baxa. Baxa has struggled during parts of two seasons with the Hurricanes. Baxa was nine for 12 on field goals 45-46 on extra points as a freshman in 2018. This season Baxa has made 3-4 PATs and four of his seven field-goal attempts.
Baxa’s miss on the PAT was blocked during Saturday’s loss to North Carolina. It was a critical moment in the game that proved pivotal in the loss to the Tar Heels. Baxa was highly regarded kicker when he signed with Miami in February of 2018.
