The Miami football program has had 64 alums make 122 Superbowl appearances. That is nearly three teams full of starters of Miami Hurricanes alums in the Superbowl.
Putting together an offense of Miami football alums that have excelled in the Superbowl would be a team of some of the great players in NFL history. Several Hall of Famers, All-Pros and Probowl players would be on the “team.”
The biggest names on the offensive side of the ball for the All Miami Hurricanes Superbowl team would begin with Jim Kelly of the Buffalo Bills at quarterback, Superbowl XXV Most Valuable Player Ottis Anderson and former Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Irvin who won two of his three Superbowls against Buffalo.
