Four-star running back Don Chaney Jr. signing with the Miami football program adds to an already deep running back corps for the Hurricanes. Chaney is the 34th ranked player in the country, the fifth-ranked RB and sixth-ranked player in Florida. Chaney is the highest-ranked Miami signee for 2020.
Chaney finished his high school career at Belen Jesuit in Miami with 4,511 rushing yards on 442 carries with 60 touchdowns. He will play in the All-American Bowl at the Alamo Dome in San Antonio on January 4. Chaney is the only player committed to the Hurricanes who were invited to the All-American Bowl.
