The week two ACC opener is the earliest the Miami football team is playing a conference game since they opened the season at Louisville in 2014. That was the Cardinals first conference game. The Hurricanes got throttled 31-13 in that game. It was also Brad Kaaya’s debut as the Miami starting quarterback.
After beginning the season August 31 in Orlando against Florida after the trip to Chapel Hill the Hurricanes will have five straight home games. Miami’s home opener is September 14 against Bethune-Cookman. The Hurricanes are against home Central Michigan a week later in their last non-conference home game of 2019.
